Meet Anna Kilroy

Founder of Mermaid Healing

Hi, I’m Anna — a trauma-informed breathwork instructor, healing facilitator, and the heart behind Mermaid Healing. This path wasn’t something I planned — it found me during one of the darkest seasons of my life. Years ago, I was diagnosed with two brain tumors. I was physically sick, emotionally drained, and my nervous system was completely unregulated. I felt like a shell of myself, lost in survival mode with no roadmap for how to come back to life.

What started as desperation led me to a deep spiritual awakening. I began seeking answers outside of conventional medicine and slowly discovered a world of holistic healing — breathwork, sound therapy, plant-based ceremonies, and energetic healing. These weren’t just practices — they were lifelines. Each one gave me a piece of myself back. They helped me regulate my body, release emotional trauma, and begin rewriting the story I was living.

My approach is personal, intuitive, and rooted in lived experience. I don’t just offer services — I walk alongside you as someone who’s been through the fire and found light on the other side. Whether you're dealing with emotional overwhelm, physical burnout, or simply feel disconnected from your purpose, there’s a path back to yourself — and I’m here to help you find it.

Everything I offer — from sacred ceremonies and retreats to cold plunges and custom healing jewelry — is an extension of that calling. I work one-on-one and in small, intentional circles because healing is sacred. It deserves intimacy, compassion, and authenticity.

Breathwork Update – 5 Months In

It’s been five months since I began this breathwork journey, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the most powerful things I’ve done for myself. Every session has been a step toward healing, clarity, and reconnection—with my body, my spirit, and my truth.


One of the biggest shifts I’ve noticed? I’ve been able to come off of some of my medications. That alone feels like a testament to the deep inner work and regulation this practice has helped me tap into. Of course, everyone's path is different, but for me, this has been huge.


What I’ve come to realize is that this journey is uniquely mine. It’s not linear, not always easy—but it is deeply personal and profoundly sacred. I'm so grateful for Anna, who doesn’t try to dictate the path, but instead gives us the tools, space, and support to discover it for ourselves.
